Nothing like sunshine and warm temperatures!!! We have wrapped up moving all of our hives out to there summer yards!! We have been busy putting boxes on as the bees have started to rake in honey!! We hope for more sunny and warm days ahead so the bees can make all the honey they can make!!

Has been a busy end to the splitting season! We got our last queens and put them into there new hives!! We have also started moving the beehives out to there summer yards and started adding boxes for the honey season!! Has been great weather the last couple weeks and we are excited for summertime to see how much honey the bees can make!!

Aren’t these pictures beautiful!!!! Dandelions are a bees first source of food in the spring time. It is very important that you let them grow and let the bees collect pollen and nectar off of them!! While most people think that they are weeds they are very important to keep in your lawn!! The more yellow your lawn has the better!! 😁😁

The bees have made it back home from California! They are a little chilly right now but it looks like the weather is going to warm up!! In the next couple of weeks we will be splitting the hives to make more colonies!! We are planning to double the amount of hives that we have!! Let’s hope that it can dry up a little and that the weather stays nice!!

The bees are looking great out in California!! They are enjoying the warm weather!! Looking forward to sending them back home in a couple of weeks. Once they are home we will make multiple new colonies out of them and be able to have lots more bees!!

The Almond bloom is wrapping up! We have been busy taking the bees out of the almonds and sending them back to where they came from! Our bees are enjoying the weather out here yet. They will continue to enjoy the warm weather until April and then they will head back to Iowa!
