i’m drowning in a river of emotion. It’s circulating and i struggle to stay afloat as my ankles get pulled down.

I try to pull myself out of this mood i’m in to no avail. I’m so sick and tired of feeling this way. I try to scream but no one can hear me as I’m sinking, sinking sinking, down down down!

I’m falling in reverse, going down instead of up. Can’t seem to find the surface. Can’t find the right way back. Going down fast. Havnt gone up in half past who knows when.

I lie awake, because i’m scared. Scared that I am failing, failing at everything. My mind racing, filled with thoughts, that i’m not good enough, not smart enough. Like I can’t be all that i want to be, or achieve all I want to achieve.

Voices ring around inside me telling me that i’m a terrible person. Other voices trying to calm me. I a sick twisted individual inside my head. Trying not to panic but how can i not, trying to stay calm but i’m crumbling into tiny pieces! Pieces! tiny pieces and dying slowly!!

I may act tough but i’m not okay. People think i’m a robot, without emotion. They never ask how i’m doing. I lay awake at night, struggling to combat nightmares. I remain alone as pieces of my heart scatter all over. People want me to run away and never come back.

I hate the noise but I need it. Noise means busy. Quiet means lonely and silence. I try to hide but it finds me. People laughing at my failure. The voices consume me. Failure is what they want, it’s what i see
