This Monday marks the 55th anniversary of Memorial Day being observed as an official federal Monday holiday. With roots tracing back to the 1860s following the Civil War, Memorial Day stands as one of our nation’s most sacred traditions — a day to honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to the United States, observed on the last Monday in May since 1971, Memorial Day reminds us that the freedoms we enjoy were secured through the courage, sacrifice, and devotion of generations of American heroes.❤️❤️🙏

📸 A Special Visit for National Police Week!
We were thrilled to have Chief Slaughter and his officers drop by the Museum for to see the exhibit dedicated to legendary Chief Wall. He faithfully led our town for 30 years. Wendell still maintains that same tight-knit community feel and safety we’ve cherished for over a century. Please help us recognize our current officers for their bravery and round-the-clock protection that keeps our town safe every single day.
