Recycle and Wildlife Project-Girl Scout Silver Award

Recycle and Wildlife Project-Girl Scout Silver Award Troop 50014 wants to help injured and orphaned wildlife animals. We want to reduce the amount of waste in the landfills by recycling used eyeliner wands.

This project will also bring awareness to what it takes to nurse injured wildlife back to health.

Girl Scout Troop #50014 of Tampa Bay, FL are collecting used mascara wands to send to Appalachian Wildlife Refuge in North Carolina. The refuge cares for wildlife who have been hurt or orphaned and the wands are used as cleaning tools.
