Some of the “pallet wall” background boards for the Honey & Hops Brew Works sign. Been a fun project! They all started out life as part of a 4’x8’x3/4” thick sheet of HDU (high density urethane) foam. Then, got ripped into mostly 3” wide boards. A few different techniques to create grain and texture and nearing completion. Stay tuned for the completed project.

Created this “sign system” for West Branch Township, taking their one dimensional logo and turning it into a more interesting 3-D (bas relief) rendition. It’s all about “disturbing the eye”. Getting people to look. Obviously more important for a commercial business, but the township hall deserved something more than “flat” vinyl trees. West Branch Township.

Recently completed this 3’ x 4’ double sided sign for Vault & Cellar restaurant. The building is an old bank, complete with the original vault (hence “Vault“) and there’s a lower level as well (hence “Cellar”). Part of the sign program will be a series of 14 “keys” (24” high) mounted to the facia.

Worked on a really fun project for a local popcorn business, Jazzy Gourmet Popcorn, that opened up a second location at Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport. We fabricated the elements and provided a pattern for the owner to do his own installation. In all the years I've been doing this sign thing, I've never seen a customer so overwhelmed and the "wow factor" so strong. We were pleased. Thanks Jill Winowiecki Rushing, Abel Rushing and Theresa Lynch for the great work sculpting & routing.
