Spring starts moving quietly, beneath the surface — until something breaks through you weren't expecting.
Many creative people are rooted. They have practices, relationships, and a groundedness that support the growth of creativity.
Coaching, for me, is about tending those conditions. Creating space for curiosity, creativity and honest reflection so that what's already alive in you can emerge.

On May 13th Laura King and I will be hosting a half day retreat here at Celebration Tree Farm Wellness Center in Durham Maine.
We are creating a space for values aligned leaders to develop adaptability, relational awareness, and communication skills needed to navigate uncertainty while keeping people connected and moving ahead together.
We’ll engage in creative earth-based rituals, meaningful dialogue, and leadership circles, we will deepen our capacity to lead with authenticity and effective collaboration for our shared future.

Funding is getting cut. Federal policies are becoming restrictive and repressive. Costs are increasing. The demands and needs are growing.

Trees don't grow stronger by trying harder.
They grow stronger by sending their roots deeper and receiving the rain and the sunlight.
As a coach, the leaders I work with aren't struggling because they need to work harder or move faster. They're struggling because the ground keeps shifting, and they're trying to keep up.
In these times of uncertainty, we need to take time to root and recognize our interconnections.
