ometimes the hardest part of marketing isn’t the strategy.

It’s the filtering.
The filtering of your thoughts.
The filtering of your opinions.
The filtering of your stories.
The filtering of the things you really want to say.

And if we’re being honest, most of us started filtering ourselves long before we started our businesses.

We learned how to be likable.

How to fit in.
How not to make people uncomfortable.
How not to say the wrong thing.

So then we start a business and wonder why creating content feels so hard.

We sit down to write a post and suddenly there are a hundred voices in our head.

“Don’t say it like that.”

“What if someone disagrees?”

“What if people don’t understand?”

“What if I leave someone out?”

“What if I sound stupid?” (My personal “fave”)

And before we know it, the post doesn’t sound like us anymore.

It sounds safe.
It sounds polished.
It sounds like everyone else.

But here’s the thing...

The more your marketing sounds like YOU, the clearer it becomes.

The more connected you are to your natural voice, the easier it is for the right people to recognize themselves in your message.

Oh podcasting!!!

I really do love it…mostly. lol

Actually I DO love it and it’s so much fun, except for the part for the intro to the actual podcast.

IT WAS SO AWKWARD!

Like wildly awkward.

And I realized today as I was recording a podcast announcing the name change for my podcast how EASY it was do step into the intro of the podcast episode.

How NATURAL it felt.

This is what I realized…

I spent SO much time trying to sound good in the intro that I completely lost myself.

So I tried doing all the things everyone else does and even that still felt awkward.

But today after the name change that is so much more me I couldn’t wait to record!

And when I started the episode it was all me.

Fully me. Fully expressed. Fully heard.

And fully comfortable.

What a freaking relief!

So, if you’re starting a podcast episode or are doing one and it’s feeling more than a little uncomfy it could be because you’re editing yourself right out of it.

More of you = a whole lot more comfort

Maybe someday my editing skills will be super good…or I’ll get my act together and get it to my assistant before I post it.

Until then, this is it!

And frankly, it’s a great example of exactly what I’m talking about.

Being YOU and saying it the way you would actually say it.

It’s so easy to come on this platform and want to perfect ourselves. To edit the errors out or get the words just right.

That would be a performance.

But what your audience, and especially your ideal clients really wants is you.

Transmission means they feel you and in order for that to happen, you have to feel you too.

Your mission, should you choose to accept it:

Pick ONE sentence and say it until you FEEL it. Then record a reel with that sentence in it and you just being real all around it.

Then tag me cuz I want to support you. I want to HEAR you!

Because girl, you were freaking designed to be heard

You were designed to be heard.

Like legit.

Your natal chart shows me how.

But we will get to that.

Waaay too often we over edit our content because we want to get it right so no one misunderstands us. (Because let’s be honest there’s already been way too much of that in our lives.)

But that’s exactly why it’s not landing!

You left YOU out of your content.

And you are exactly what your people want.

I forget way too often how powerful it is to do my own work for me.

So, #1…if you haven’t done a “session” for yourself lately I would HIGHLY recommend it.

Okay, this is what happened in my session:

I asked myself what I want! What do I want to experience in my business? How do I want to experience money?

After I did all the writing I pulled out my natal chart, just like I would for a session and I asked it…

How can I make money?

There were two big directives and then one action step.

1) Trust myself
2) Have fun expressing myself.

And my action step…

Ask myself each day: How do I want to make money today?

Not what should I do? Not what do I have to do? Not what makes the most sense.

How do I want to make money.

And when I heard that from my chart I giggled a little.

Cuz it brought my spark back!

Maybe what you’re needing a little more right now is less of the stodgy “have to” in strategy and more of the…what makes me feel ALIVE!

I feel like I can spot an ai written post from a mile away.

It’s almost like I can smell it.

And I’m positive you can too….because I’ve seen a million people commenting that.

Your ideal clients can too.

Look, in a world FILLED with AI and Chat GPT your clients could just go there to get advice.

But they don’t because they want YOU!!!

The real you, the authentic you.

They want YOUR voice.

And the only way for them to experience you is for you to show up in your marketing.

So honestly, while I work with all my clients on content strategy, while I edit their content and show them how to speak more clearly to their ideal clients in their emails and their posts….

I’m also helping them feel safe to TRULY BE HEARD.

Because that’s more powerful than any AI written content strategy ever could be.

I’ve seen this with client after client.

Holding back your words in your relationship, you’ll hold back in your marketing.

Over explain in your personal life, you’ll over explain/over give in your marketing.

At the crux of it all is safety.

If you don’t feel safe to be heard you will hold back or over explaining (because even that is a form of holding back ).

When your voice feels safe your message gets clearer, your content gets easier, and the right clients understand what you do.

And I’m a heck yeah to all of that!

Clarity calls are NOT sales calls!

Okay, sigh. I said it.

Clarity calls are about them and you gaining the clarity needed for the next steps.

For you to see if you’re right for them and if you are where exactly they are on the journey.

For them to see if you’re right for them and if you can see where they are at and what they need.

So the work of the clarity calls happens long before the call.

It happens in your marketing and if your marketing is too broad, too open, too accommodating then you’re going to call in clients who need convincing.

The juicy part of all of this is that your natal chart shows me exactly where and how you’ve been keeping the peace in your personal life and in your marketing.

(Cuz the truth is how you communicate in your personal life directly impact how you’re communicating in your business life)

Once we see that the road to success in your marketing is clear.
