Holding back your words in your relationship, you’ll hold back in your marketing.

Over explain in your personal life, you’ll over explain/over give in your marketing.

At the crux of it all is safety.

If you don’t feel safe to be heard you will hold back or over explaining (because even that is a form of holding back ).

When your voice feels safe your message gets clearer, your content gets easier, and the right clients understand what you do.

And I’m a heck yeah to all of that!

Clarity calls are NOT sales calls!

Okay, sigh. I said it.

Clarity calls are about them and you gaining the clarity needed for the next steps.

For you to see if you’re right for them and if you are where exactly they are on the journey.

For them to see if you’re right for them and if you can see where they are at and what they need.

So the work of the clarity calls happens long before the call.

It happens in your marketing and if your marketing is too broad, too open, too accommodating then you’re going to call in clients who need convincing.

The juicy part of all of this is that your natal chart shows me exactly where and how you’ve been keeping the peace in your personal life and in your marketing.

(Cuz the truth is how you communicate in your personal life directly impact how you’re communicating in your business life)

Precision is you saying it so clearly that those who aren’t ready opt out and those who are LEAN IN.

Your marketing is so much more than just the copy and the content that you write.

Your marketing is about YOU as much as it’s about your ideal client.

I love editing content. I love helping coaches sink into the words they really need to be using to attract their ideal clients.

And even more than that I love helping them with the subconscious blocks that are stopping them from saying more of what they want to say in their personal lives.

Because oddly enough, how you use your voice in your marketing directly impacts how you use your voice in your marketing.

And my client yesterday is proof of that.

Yes we edited content, but more than that we looked at her natal chart and discovered where her voice naturally carries weight in her life, how she could step more powerfully into that, and what support she needed to do it.

Hours later she messaged me that a potential client who had previously said had just message her YES! Send me the contract!

THAT is a celebration! 🥳

Marketing is so much more than the words you use in your business. It’s also how you’re using your voice in your personal life.

Because when you are being more of YOU outside your business it makes it safer to be more of you inside it.

Prefect vs Precise

Honestly for years I couldn’t tell the difference between the two.

Potato, potato….if you know what I mean.

But it’s not true! Perfection is not precision.

Perfection in our marketing leads to over editing…and editing the US right out of our marketing.

And the biggest bummer about that is our ideal client is looking for US!

They are looking for our authentic voice in our marketing.
They are looking for our realness, our rawness, our power.

And THAT is how our marketing becomes precise.

When it holds more of us. More of the truth of us. More of the precision of who we are and what we are doing here.

The beauty is that we don’t have to guess at any of it.

What your marketing needs to be signaling.

And what needs to shift so you can call in those ready to sign clients.

Oh I’ve been in this season before!

Helping everyone because I could see the transformation I could bring them.

Keeping my own marketing broad so that I could just sign SOMEONE.

But what ends up happening is that your client sessions and your clarity calls end up feeling heavy because you end up spending more time offering comfort that you do creating lasting change.

The hard truth I didn’t say in this video:

There’s someone made to help that woman right where she’s at.

And it’s not you.

Because if it was she’d be experiencing transformation and you’d be experiencing absolute joy in your sessions.

You are allowed to be a leader with your marketing. To let you content FILTER those that aren’t ready and call in those that are.

I’m not here to convince you. I’m here to work with the ready.

And so are you.

Sigh. The safety that comes from over editing your content.

From staying broad and not only not saying THE THING but also not sounding like YOU.

Here’s the truth.

Your clients get you in a session.

And in order to attract the right audience and convert more of your ideal clients your content needs more of you.

More of your authentic voice.

The bonus to that….it makes creating content a whole lot more pleasurable.

And I’m a yes on that!

Setting intentions before you attend a business retreat helps you not only get the most out of your retreat experience it puts you in a space of awareness and choice at every turn.

For the last 10 years I have never entered a retreat without first deciding how *I* want to experience it.

How I want to experience ME through it.

And how I want to return home a changed woman.

Marketing will always feel heavy when you’re technically visible but emotionally hidden.

I’m of the firm belief that marketing should be the joyful overflow of what you experience in your client sessions.

It CAN feel fun, enjoyable, AND attract your ideal clients.

And to do that you truly need to be sharing your heart because it’s your heart your ideal clients need just as much as they need the results you will give them.

It’s your heart that will help guide them to the transformation you deeply desire to give them.

Which means that your marketing will require your heart to be seen and heard.

So, next time you step into creating content for your audience I want you to remind yourself that it is safe to be seen and heard.
