Still thinking about all the sweet moments from our fundraiser!

Thank you to everyone who came out, grabbed some ice cream, supported ELLA, and spent the evening hanging out with us. Nothing beats good conversation, community, and jefa energy over a scoop (or two).

We wish we had more photos to share, but clearly we were too busy enjoying each other and our ice cream. Thank you for making the evening so special and for continuing to show up for our community in such meaningful ways. We appreciate you all so much! 💛

Our Summer Networking Mixer is just ONE month away and we can’t wait to gather with our community for an evening of connection, conversation, and good vibes on Thursday, June 18th!

ELLA has been BUSY!

We’ve been all over the city celebrating incredible people, powerful moments, and community-centered events that continue to inspire us.

✨ We celebrated at YWCA Columbus Women on the Rise, where one of our past mentees, Vanessa Mora, was honored! This event recognizes emerging local leaders creating meaningful social change and strengthening our community, and we couldn’t be more proud to see Vanessa shine.

✨ We were excited to attend the The Women’s Fund of Central Ohio’s () Keyholder event — an evening dedicated to advancing opportunities for women and girls across Central Ohio. It’s always a meaningful event that leaves us feeling inspired and energized.

✨ ELLA was honored to present the Women-Owned Business of the Year award at the Hispanic Business Awards Gala, an evening celebrating the incredible impact, leadership, and achievements of the Hispanic business community.

✨ We also attended the 2026 Thurber Prize for American Humor Award Show, one of the nation’s highest honors recognizing excellence in humor writing and cartooning.

We’re so grateful to be part of a community filled with changemakers, leaders, creatives, and advocates. Thank you to everyone continuing to pour into this city and into each other. Columbus is full of magic, and we’re excited to keep showing up for it.

Session 3 of Cycle 17 was all about Financial Wellness

A huge thank you to Chamie Townsend, for leading such an engaging and honest conversation around money, wealth building, and financial confidence. Our mentees explored topics like investing, understanding credit scores, managing debt, maximizing tax-advantaged accounts, and planning for long-term financial goals.

More than anything, this session reminded us that money doesn’t have to feel intimidating. Learning how to make it work for you is a form of empowerment.

We loved seeing our mentees ask thoughtful questions, share their experiences, and fully lean into the conversation. From 401k rollovers to wealth-building strategies, the room was filled with curiosity, growth, and community.

Thank you, Chamie, for pouring your knowledge into our cohort and encouraging our mujeres to build confidence not just professionally, but financially too.

Still thinking about the magic of Empower Her Brunch!

From meaningful conversations to genuine connections, this room was filled with women who are leading, healing, growing, and showing up for themselves and each other. There’s something powerful about being surrounded by mujeres who inspire you to dream bigger and walk boldly in who you are.

A special thank you to for pouring so much wisdom, honesty, and encouragement into our community. Your words left us feeling seen, empowered, and reminded of the importance of taking up space.

Thank you to everyone who attended and made this event so special. We’re so grateful for this community and all the beautiful moments we continue to create together.
