Amara’s Ink Sprinkles My name is Amara! I am 6 years old and I have Cerebral Palsy. I had a Selective Dorzal Rhyzotomy surgery in April.

I am hand making these pens to help with my surgery expenses as well as the extensive physical therapy I will have the rest of the year.

Good evening Sprinkle family! I just wanted to give an update for all of my followers and prayer warriors.

I started my intense burst therapy on Monday. The first week is down! Another two to go. So far, it is going well but the last two days I’ve had some fear/anxiety over falling that may hold me back. Today was a very good day though, I conquered most of that fear for today and was able to do everything I was supposed to. Please keep praying for me that I will continue to be able to work through it and stay strong, the first two days were pretty scary for me. I also found out today that they are talking about another round of Botox injections again. 😞 Those are so painful.

Today I also spoke with my surgeon and had a consultation. They are very concerned about the way my hips are growing. They did say my spine looks good though. It is looking like I will need to have another surgery soon to hopefully prevent a very big scary surgery later on. That one may still have to happen too, but in hopes of avoiding it, because that one will put me in a full body cast and another long recovery, we’re gonna do this smaller one first. If we do, it will be next month. Please keep the thoughts and prayers coming for me and my family. I still have a long road ahead.

Good morning Sprinkle family! We are out here today again at All Hands Thrift Store until 2pm. Today will be my last day of sales before I leave for Birmingham for my intensive therapy. They are doing a raffle, fundraiser, and have all kinds of items for sale, including my pens! Good afternoon Sprinkle Family! I start my intensive therapy on Monday so this weekend is my last chance to see ya’ll and show off my pens until the end of the month. Today and tomorrow, I will be set up at All Hands Thrift . Today until 4:30pm, tomorrow from 9:00am - 2:00pm. If you want to get yourself a new pen, buy one as a gift, or just want to come see me before I leave for the hospital, come on out and say hi.

All sales from today and tomorrow will go to help with my trip and the expenses! They are also raffling off some nice items to help me as well! So please, come support them too. You can check out their page for pictures of the raffle items.

Good evening Sprinkle Family! Tonight I will be set up Texas Roadhouse for the evening. They are doing a charity event tonight and I have my booth set up! This will be one of the few last chances you have to see me before I go back to the hospital for 3 weeks for my intensive therapy. So if you want to come say hi and get your pens before I am gone, now is your chance. Thank you all for all of the support.

Anyone have any good ideas on where babygirl could possibly set up her pens & keychains?

She has a lengthy stay in Birmingham for Children’s coming up in October & is trying to raise $ for a show she would love to go to. Our hopes of her saving up for a special trip after all her surgeries & therapies seems to be a little out of reach. This girl has worked so hard though and now with school back in it’s back to exhausting days of not only school but endless hours or appointments and therapies. But she’d love to at least go to a Disney on Ice show that will be being held in Birmingham as well & would love to help her make it happen. She takes such pride in her work and I’d love for her to be able to feel that sense of accomplishment.

We could also use any idea on how maybe to do a fundraiser hopefully to help alleviate loss of work and away from home & all the expenses that come with it while we have to be gone for a month. We tried a gofund me before all the surgeries & sadly those are only successful with a support system to spread awareness. Looked at several vendor events but a lot of them want business licenses so would love any pointers, ideas or advice.

Please join us & show your love on this strong little girls page for her birthday coming up! I can’t believe my babygirl is about to be 6 😭. She has been so strong and endured so much in these past couple years. She still has a long journey ahead but we are rooting for her & love how all of you are too!
