Seniors Helping Seniors Boston South Shore is led by President and CEO, Michelle Sonia and Executive Director, Michael Salerno. It was started by a drive and passion to work in and give back to the communities we grew up and now live in. Michelle grew up in Hanson and attended Notre Dame Academy in
Hingham. She holds a bachelor's degree from Harvard University and a master's degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Michelle has 15 years of experience in management consulting, specifically strategic planning for health care systems. Early in her career she also worked for the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina. Michael grew up in Hingham and is a graduate of Hingham High School. Michael has worked as a senior vice president in the banking industry for 20 years focused on strategy and retail banking. Simultaneously, he served as an elected official in his local community for 12 years. Both Michelle and Michael love working with our seniors and look forward to making a difference for them in the cities and towns we serve.
