20 years of staying true to what we believe in. Compact, powerful and efficient. We look just like other logging companies, but much smaller in physical appearance. This means we fit well on smaller acreage forests. Minimal ground disturbance equals less noxious weeds and a quicker return of native grasses, flowers and shrubs.
Congratulations to Tai Foley of Lands Forestry in Whitefish, Montana, on taking delivery of an Axis-built John Deere 75P harvester package, equipped with the powerful Kesla 18RH harvester head!
This compact harvesting package is the ideal solution for fire mitigation, fuel reduction, and thinning operations. Designed to efficiently process small timber up to 18 inches in diameter, it allows contractors to tackle critical forest management projects while creating sustainable business opportunities.
Tai and the team at Safe Land Forestry are part of a growing movement of contractors utilizing small wood resources that might otherwise go unused. Their work helps reduce wildfire fuel loads, improve forest health, and protect communities—all while building a strong and viable business.
A special thank you to Frank Ringer and the team at Papé for supplying the base machine to Axis for the conversion.
We're proud to support contractors like Safe Land Forestry who are making a real difference on the ground. We look forward to seeing this machine at work across Montana's forests and communities!
