EPAWA Weather Consulting (formerly Eastern PA Weather Authority) began as a Lehigh Valley based page on Facebook in January of 2011. Through many successful calls on major events, including Hurricane Sandy in 2012, the page rapidly expanded with loyal followers that trust our forecasts on a daily basis. Due to popular demand, we were forced to expand our coverage area in June 2012 to the entire eastern half of the state of Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, and parts of Maryland. The National Hurricane Center introduced Tropical Depression Nine just off the eastern Mexico coastline at the 5:00pm advisory. If forecasts hold, this will become Tropical Storm Isaias. If it reaches hurricane status before landfall as they project currently, it would be the first one of the entire season in the Atlantic Basin.

As far as remnants and local impacts go, and preliminarily speaking, this doesn't look to be overly impactful locally. Moderate rain, but we're not seeing much of a severe weather aspect presently. Timimg is currently the biggest question mark. Does it ruin Sunday again or does rain hold off until Sunday night? We will cover this week in daily forecast videos.
