I've been writing poetry again.

Projection

The fickle game we play
Ask for love day and day
For love is everlasting
But we have none comma just fasting
We ask, we take, we lose, we lose
When in the end, one needs but to choose
Is the pain inside
That I despise.
And disguise
Enough pain to discuss
Or do we continue to ignore and judge each other with disgust
Because if we would just
Discuss what disgusts
Us about us
We would trust
That you and I are the same
Given a name
Given blame
Given shame
And even though we are the same
We look inside and feel the same
To the point that we can't call each other, buy our names
And just say
I love you. I forgive you and I forgive myself

Had to take a break off social media for the last couple years and build my life. Here’s some updates. I am engaged to the absolute most amazing woman in the world. Lexis Haley. Step dad to two beautiful kids. Living in Kentucky with them and just loving life.
Still a complete goof, something’s don’t change.
