Severe Winter Storm Reminders:
-Make sure all hoses are disconnected from outside faucets.
-Keep all indoor faucets dripping and sink cabinet doors open
-If your house is on a hill it wouldn't hurt to have a space heater blowing on each plumbing area.
-Keep your heat up a little higher than normal 75°
These little tips will help prevent the water lines from freezing. When lines freeze there's not a lot you can do until everything warms up and thaws, then damage can be evaluated. Pipes can burst when they freeze and it can be a real hassle dealing w finding where they burst and cleaning up the mess. So anything you can do to prevent it can be helpful. Sometimes the lines freeze in the ground and there's not a lot we can do but make due until repairs can be made.
