Kansas City, we found the cutest self-serve sweet stop! 🍭👀

Our first stop on Gabriel’s Sweet Treat Tour took us to Sweet Stations… a fun little pop-up filled with cake pops, cookies and other sweet treats. Gabriel knew exactly what he wanted, and before I knew it…it was gone! 😂💙

We love discovering unique local businesses and sharing them with you… and there’s an extra-special story behind this one that we’ll share later.

Go show Sweet Station some local love! 🙌♥️🙌

Where should Gabriel and I stop next? Tag your favorite KC sweet spot below! 👇

What if the clothes you no longer need could help a mom begin again? 💜

Gabriel and I took a road trip with our friend Anne from Business with Wisdom to Village Thrift in Paola, Kansas—and Gabriel got right to work unloading her donations!

But this isn’t just another thrift store. One hundred percent of the funds raised benefit All for Moms Foundation, helping moms facing difficult seasons receive essential supplies, supportive resources, and the fresh start they need.

When you donate or shop here, you’re doing more than cleaning out a closet or finding a great deal—you’re reminding a mom that she doesn’t have to do life alone.

This is Gabriel Gives.
This is Be Life Changers.
This is what happens when kindness keeps moving. 💜

Would you donate, shop—or both? Tag the friend you would take thrifting with you!

RELOCATION UPDATE: It is confirmed that a few (not all; there are many that do support us) residents in Briarwood and one business, who have filed a valid petition stating that they do not want us in the 16175 W 135th Street location. What does that mean? We will need a 6-out-of-7 vote at the City Council Meeting on Tuesday, August 18th. What does that mean for our future? If we get a yes vote: as soon as the SUP is processed, we move all operations into the 16175 W 135th location. No vote: we will operate out of the 14910 W 119th Street location for another week and temporarily shut down all of our operations until another temporary location is found. This location has been back-leased, so staying there is not an option. It was never intended to be a permanent solution. At this time, we are trying to make multiple plans, based on the outcome of the vote. No matter what, next week we will need A LOT of help relocating. Not knowing the outcome, we can’t make any definite plans. Many people continue to ask, “how can we help?” Continue to send letters to the Mayor and City Council Member sharing “why this building” & “what positive impact this building” will make for the community and those we serve. Show up Tuesday night at the City Council Meeting showing your support. If you have a red Starfish Project shirt, wear it. If you don’t, Starfish Project lanyards can be picked up at the 14910 W 119th Street location. We also encourage you to wear red to show your unspoken support. You can also help by watching our posts and, when we send out an ask for help, jump in when you can. Our core volunteers have worked harder than smarter all summer due to the circumstances to ensure services were still provided for our community. They can really use the fresh energy, muscles, and support. Starfish Project Foundation is our community serving our community. We can’t wait to be in a permanent location, so we can bring all our services back online and truly support each other. Please remember, not everyone is going to agree, and we can all agree to disagree. Most importantly, BE KIND as we continue to work through this process. We want to thank everyone in advance for their support. We can’t do what we do without our family, friends, volunteers, donors, sponsors, and community support. THANK YOU!

🍕 Some places just taste like HOME. ❤️

While Gabriel and I were back in Salina waiting for our AC to get fixed, there was one hometown favorite we HAD to visit — Big Cheese Pizza!

We decided to surprise Grandma with dinner, and of course we had to get one of our favorites… Hawaiian pizza 🍍🍕 AND those cinnamon sticks! 😋

I love coming back and supporting the local businesses that have been part of our family memories for years. Sometimes it’s not just about the food — it’s the memories attached to it. ❤️

Okay, Salina friends… I know you have a Big Cheese favorite! 👇

💙 Here’s an easy way to make a BIG difference this weekend!

Gabriel and I are always looking for simple ways we can give back and show a little love to our community — and right now, Tiny Pantry Times needs cases of bottled water.

They’ve already distributed 134 cases during this incredible summer heat and are completely out. 💧

If you’re out shopping this weekend and can grab an extra case, consider dropping one off. Every case helps someone in our community who needs it.

📍 Drop-off information is in the original post below.

Small acts of kindness add up. 💙

With the incredible heat, we have been enduring this summer, Tiny Pantry Times has been busy distributing water. So far, we have distributed 134. 24 bottle cases of water into the community and we are totally out!! If you can this weekend, would you please consider dropping off a case? The address is 7450 CONSER Overland Park, KS 66204. On behalf of our recipients, thank you!!
