I am incredibly happy to report that I am assisting Nielsen Construction CA put together a bid for the San Diego County Water Authority Operations and Maintenance Center Tenant Improvements, Specification 691 project at 1960 Citracado Parkway, Escondido, CA 92029.
The Project Estimate is $30,000,000 to $33,000,000.
The bid date is 9/29/2026.
PROJECT Expected to start in October or November 2026
Project Scope:
In general, the work to be completed under this Contract consists of constructing tenant improvements within an existing 84,229 square foot building in a cold dark shell condition. The work includes but is not limited to site improvements including emergency generators, utility yard with bollard protection, metal canopy, landscape, safety training center, security cameras, fencing and security gates with power and low voltage, interior walls, doors, ceilings, casework, finishes, structural mechanical, electrical plumbing, low voltage for offices and shops, structural expansion of existing mezzanine to buildout second floor office area including restroom and control room, mechanical, and roof penetrations to accommodate electrical, mechanical, and radio communication installed on the roof.

Steel, Steel Stairs and Railings, Metal Decking, Metal Studs and Drywall, Ceilings, Finish Carpentry and Woodwork, Insulation, Roof Patching, Sheet Metal and Flashings, Joint Sealants and Firestopping, Doors/Frames/Hardware, Windows and Glazing, Tiling, Flooring, Painting, Signage, Toilet Partitions and Bath Accessories, Fire Extinguishers, Window Treatments, Equipment, Furnishings, Industrial Furnishing, Industrial Equipment, Elevator, Fire Sprinklers, Plumbing, HVAC and Controls, Electrical, Communications, Electronic Safety and Security, Fire Alarm, Landscaping and Irrigation, Final Cleaning.
