With decades of experience between us, we can ensure you will receive the most professional care along with the most satisfactory cleaning experience. We offer a large variety of services that range from basic home cleanings all the way to organizing and sorting items. We also offer FREE estimates, so if you are looking for that extra helping hand around the house or just can't stand looking at that messy closet anymore, give us a call! Clients and followers of “O” So Clean:

As many of you know, my daughter has been dealing with medical issues for over a year now. I have been so fortunate to balance both my work life and personal life thus far. Next month is going to be a major milestone for my girl. She will be having a heart procedure performed in Chapel Hill and then will be returning the following week for a 5-10 day monitoring/study to determine if her procedure prior repaired the issues she was having. With this said, I will be missing about a week or more of work. While I will be in touch with everyone individually, it is VITAL that I keep all my appointments and/or that I know of any changes in advance so I can try to fill any spots. Being self employed is amazing in a lot of ways, but when I don’t work…I don’t get paid. Missing income is stressful to anyone, but more so in these moments. While I understand things happen, if I am not notified atleast 24 hours prior to your appt of scheduling changes, I will have to charge you for your full cleaning. It is so hard to fill spots last minute and I rely greatly on my income. With this said, I will also be opening up room for one time cleanings to help cover the costs. I truly appreciate and value all of you. This dream of mine has been a reality for over 12 years now. It truly is my passion and I look forward to many more years to come ❤️

Let’s talk about the “infamous” paper towel test!

Why it can be difficult to pass:

Dirt buildup: Floors accumulate dirt and grime, especially in high-traffic areas or with pets and children. Wearing shoes also adds to this mix.

Cleaning methods: Traditional mopping can push dirt around rather than fully remove it.

Residue: Cleaning products can leave behind residue, especially if not rinsed properly.

Floor type: Older or textured floors may be more difficult to clean thoroughly.

While this can be an easy way to check how clean your floors are, this can also be an unfair reflection of your cleaning service. While we try our best to perform magic, there are always going to be factors that work against us ❤️🧼❤️

Attention Clients:

Starting next week I will begin sending out appointment reminders that look like this. I will include your appt day/time in the text and will send one on Friday if you are scheduled on a Monday or a Tuesday of the following week. My hope with this new method/format is that last minute cancellations and “I forgot” situations become as close to non-existent as possible. I am trying my best to NOT have to raise my prices (even though everything else is going up), so I hope that this will help keep things as steady as possible.

Also, I realize you don’t always know you are sick until the day of and that emergencies happen. I will be willing to work with you in those moments. This is more-so for those that make a habit of it, I lose money/can’t fill the spot with a 20 minute notice, and then 4 other people do the same thing that week 🤪🫣

On behalf of my business, “O” So Clean, I will be implementing a new policy starting the first week of April. As of April 1st 2023, payment for services will be due the DAY OF service. A fee of $10 will be added per day until payment is received. I try so hard to be understanding and allow for wiggle room, but I have had far too many people waiting to pay until the next day/days later/going out of town and forgetting/etc and I just can’t afford for that to continue. If you are on my schedule, you are in my budget. I plan my bills accordingly and it is partially my fault for not enforcing this more before. You don’t go out to eat and then pay the restaurant later nor do you do this at any other place. I cannot continue to provide a service and then hope to be paid for it later. It is really hard to make up for this income on a short notice and if I am giving my time/skill/efforts, they deserve to be paid for when I am providing them. I truly appreciate those that continue to support my dream and I look forward to many years to come ☀️
