With 18 years of experience, a Master of Science in Human Resources Management, and certifications as a SHRM-SCP and SPHR, Travis brings real-world insight and heart to everything he teaches and writes. Through The HR Dude, Travis helps HR professionals, leaders, and teams simplify complex challenges with practical, people-centered strategies that drive results. His approach blends humor, honesty, and hands-on experience to make HR relatable and actionable for anyone working with people. When he is not writing or speaking, Travis enjoys time with his wife, Michelle, and their two sons in Wilmington, North Carolina. He is also a worship leader, coffee enthusiast, and lifelong believer in the power of connection and purpose at work.
