AI isn't the biggest threat to your company. It's misusing it that could result in...
- Losing your company's unique identity.
- Team members questioning their judgement.
- Substituting team collaboration for a "machine's" method.

Consider this:
AI gives answers.
It can suggest workflows, best practices and solutions.
But who's?

The root of the risk:
A company without a clearly documented vision, operating principles, process workflows and procedures, and instilled into the hearts and minds of their team.

Why?
Human nature. We default to the source that can most quickly and efficiently provide the information we need. And AI most certainly fits the bill.

The outcomes?
AI will quietly start reshaping how your company operates and is viewed by your customers.
Your company begins to look like everyone else.

Established companies are not immune!
Longevity is only as good as your ability to communicate and maintain your unique identity in your team. But new hires already bring outside influence. Without continual ongoing reinforcement, your uniqueness will erode.

The solution is straight forward, but absolutely requires leadership involvement.

1. Clearly document your vision and communicate it ongoing to ensure everyone understands - and embraces it.
2. Define "the [your Company Name] way" in every critical function - sales, customer service, operations, hiring, communication, etc.
3. Require leaders to review and teach these standards continually.
4. Train every new employee on what makes your company different - before outside the AI influence fills the gap.
5. When employing AI, first come up with your own ideas, then test against AI's. At the very least, it will challenge and sharpen the team to be at their very best, regardless of the path you choose.

So, use AI. Embrace the automation it can produce to improve efficiency, productivity, profits, etc.
But protect what makes you distinct.

Because once you become a commodity, the only thing left to compete on is price. And that is a place no business wants to find themselves in to win.

An article from CFO Brew shared that only 50% of employers see remote work as a way to drive recruitment, while 71% of employees see remote as top 3 on their list.

In addition, the article sited 83% of employees said remote work makes them more productive (LOL). And employers apparently don't agree, by a wide margin.

Business Insider recently wrote an article on the Super Scooper, a plane that can scoop 1400 gallons from a large body of water in approx. 6 seconds, and 700% more water than the largest commercial airliner has been able to - to this point.

That's a "ton" more than anything else can perform in the air and means far greater effectiveness and ground covered when attempting putting out large area fires.

That said, this huge and capable plane costs $30 million - that's million. At that price, it's not a snap of the fingers to find the money to purchase such a plane. But, what's the cost of not buying it??
