We had a great conversation and his points on culture and employee engagement are super insightful.

Steve has enjoyed a successful career in training, development and performance improvement for the past 34 years. Before becoming an independent Marketing Director with Integrity Solutions LLC in 1991, he was a top instructor and sales leader for Dale Carnegie Training in Portland, ME.

In 1992, he became a certified consultant with Behavior Science Research Press of Dallas. Through that affiliation, he became authorized to market and interpret the SPQ-Gold profile and deliver the Retrain Your Sales Brain performance workshop. He assists organizations to implement these processes widely to enhance individual and organizational sales effectiveness.

In 2004, he joined the Target Training International network of Value Added Associates (VAA) and is utilizing the suite of deep dive assessments to align the human resources with the requirements of the position and culture of the organization in hiring, coaching, and succession planning.

Steve’s delivery style is characterized by enthusiasm, creativity and a passion for developing managers and sales leaders to their highest potential. He has conducted customer service, sales, leadership, coaching training for a variety of Fortune 500 organizations on 6 of the 7 continents, reaching a total audience of over 200,000 participants.

As a Master Facilitator with financial services, healthcare and medical device leadership training, he has worked with a wide variety of sales and sales leadership roles focusing on leadership development and sales training.

His specialty is working with leaders and sales professionals to improve performance, increase engagement and clarify their role in building a strong sales and serving culture.

He majored in Economics and Business at the University of Southern Maine, and resides in Portland, Maine with his wife Priscilla and their 5 pugs.

MajGen (Ret) Weidley was raised in suburban Philadelphia, PA and earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Ohio Northern University in 1987.

He was commissioned into the United States Marine Corps that same year and was subsequently designated a Naval Aviator and Attack Helicopter pilot in the years that followed.

During over 34 years of service, he participated in multiple combat operations in the Middle East, as well as numerous assignments and deployments ashore and afloat within the Indo-Pacific Region.

He also earned a Master's Degree in National Security and Strategic Studies from the Naval War College.

MajGen (Ret) Weidley was privileged to command Marines at multiple echelons during his military career, including the aviation Squadron, Group, and Wing levels.

Serving as a General Officer for eight years, he executed a diverse array of assignments from Marine Corps University President to Commanding General of Marine Corps Installations - East, to Assistant Chief of Staff for Strategy, Plans, and Policy for U.S. Forces in Korea.

He retired in the fall of 2021.

MajGen (Ret) Weidley joined Capewell, an Aerospace and Defense Company in the Argosy Private Equity portfolio shortly after military service as the Chief Operating Officer.

In May of 2023, he was promoted to President and Chief Executive Officer where he remained until Capewell was sold in August of 2024.

Following the bifurcation of the business, MajGen (Ret) Weidley remained President and CEO of Aerial Machine & Tool Corp and Rhine Air Inc, where he serves today in Meadows of Dan, VA.

Richard B. Gasaway, PhD, CSP is widely considered a trusted authority on human factors, situational awareness and the high-risk decision making processes used in high-stress, high consequence work environments.
