Easier said than done right? I get it. I'm right there with you on many days. We recognize we need more motivation, we may have some spare time, just not the energy. Where do we begin?

Some days it’s just putting on the shoes, walking to the corner and back. And other days it’s a lot less, like walking down the hallway. But if you made it to the corner and back, turn around and go one more time. You will be glad you did.

There are times when we have to start small. It begins with one step. Once our mental health improves the possibilities are endless. Just move.

How many gifts do you buy per family member? 🔢
Before Thanksgiving 🦃 challenge yourself to have each person bag that amount of items for donations. Match for match. If it’s 2 items of clothing then donate 2, 2 toys then donate 2 etc. Put the box or bag in your vehicle and take as soon as you are able.

In the process… any item worn out, with broken or missing pieces, torn etc. These should be discarded.

Now, freshen up your space and get ready to enjoy the season!

It's fall, y'all! 🍂🍁 Well nearly, it’s feeling cooler in the Carolina’s! Time to turn those hangers!

I’ll admit, it didn’t make much sense to me at first. The idea is to start each season with all of your hangers turned the wrong way. At the end of the season, if there are any hangers still facing the wrong way, it means you never wore those clothes. If you never wore them, do you really love them? Maybe not.

We are creatures of habit and tend to wear the same items repeatedly. If you're holding onto clothes because they were gifts, because you spent a lot of money on them, or for any other reason, but you’re not actually wearing them, consider donating them or giving them to someone who will appreciate them. Having an overstuffed closet won’t make you wear those items more.
