Yesterday, Pam and I went to Riverside Park in Lacrosse to participate in the Breakthrough T1D walk in support of our Daughter-In-Law. The weather was great for the nice walk around the park and it was so wonderful to be surrounded by the caring and supportive crowd. Here are a few of the candid shots from the walk.

We took a drive to the Trempealeau National Wildlife Refuge this afternoon to take advantage of the beautiful warm spring day. Wildlife was sparse so early in the season but the turtles were taking advantage of this nice sunny day after the long cold winter.
