Read about his MWSCO journey below! 😁📰
Jonathan Jaskola is celebrating his five-year anniversary with MWSCO as a Fire Services/CO2 Technician. Jon joined MWSCO after learning about an open position through his neighbor, who encouraged him to pursue what seemed like a great opportunity. Since joining the company, Jon has especially enjoyed the opportunity to travel, work in new environments each day, and connect with people from a variety of backgrounds and experiences.
What Jon appreciates most about MWSCO is the strong family-oriented culture that sets the company apart. From the beginning, he has felt welcomed, valued, and supported by both leadership and his coworkers. The environment at MWSCO promotes teamwork, mutual respect, and meaningful relationships, creating a workplace where employees are encouraged to grow both personally and professionally. When asked to describe MWSCO, Jon chose the words family, loyal, and reliable. He shares, “My favorite part of working with this team is the freedom of not having to see the same things every day, along with the opportunity to help people along the way. That is something I truly value.” One of the most important career lessons Jon has learned is the value of being patient, understanding, and taking the time to fully learn and grow through each experience.
Outside of work, Jon enjoys fishing and spending quality time with his family. Family plays a central role in his life, and with a family of nine, there is never a dull moment in their household. Between sports, school events, and family activities, life is always active and full of energy. Jon and his family also care for two dogs, Loui and Levi, along with ten chickens. In his free time, Jon enjoys traveling, especially to tropical destinations, and he and his family value the opportunity to visit relatives in Germany.
Before joining MWSCO, Jon worked as a die casting lead supervisor, a position quite different from the fire services industry. However, that experience helped him develop strong leadership, problem-solving, and team management skills that continue to serve him well today. Something that may surprise others about Jon is that he holds an auto mechanic degree and is also an Eagle Scout.
Looking ahead to the future, Jon hopes to continue growing his career with MWSCO by taking on new opportunities and expanding his knowledge within the company. He is eager to further develop his skills, learn additional aspects of the business, and continue building strong relationships with his team.
Thank you, Jon, for your hard work, dedication, and contributions over the past five years. MWSCO is fortunate to have you as part of the team!
