Positive psychology teaches that our relationships are one of the strongest foundations of a flourishing life, and that's just as true in business as it is everywhere else. 🌻

Days like this one at the Seminole County Chamber Professional Women's Luncheon remind me how much it matters to find your people. I mean the women who cheer for your wins, share what they know, introduce you to someone you need to meet, and make you want to show up for them just as fully. For me, NAWBO Orlando has been that kind of community. It's a place where professional development and genuine connection go hand in hand, and where lifting each other up is simply how things are done.

If you're building something and feeling like you're doing it alone, I hope you'll go looking for your table. The right community will inspire you, stretch you, and hold you up, and you'll find so much joy in doing the same for them. ☀️

What a beautiful morning to share this. Thank you, Positively Osceola, for capturing yesterday so perfectly!

Dirk Webb has given more than seven years of steady, generous leadership to the St. Cloud Greater Osceola Chamber of Commerce and to this community he so clearly loves. Watching the Board honor him yesterday was genuinely moving. He built something real here, and that foundation matters so deeply as the Chamber steps into its next chapter.

As someone who has called St. Cloud home through St. Cloud Levee Liquor & Gas and through Sunshine Coaching Group, I know firsthand how much this Chamber means to the businesses and people who make this community what it is. I am honored and humbled to serve as Interim Executive Director during this transition, and I do not take lightly what it means to follow someone who led with such integrity and passion.

Celebrating Dirk today, and Lisa Bertossa (Keystone Residential Group) for her year of beautiful board leadership, and incoming Chair Brian Wetzel at Orlando Health St. Cloud Hospital. City of St. Cloud, Florida, you are something special!🎉

Wrapped up the week with coffee and some of my favorite people, my ICF Central Florida Charter Chapter coaching friends, at Propagate Social House this morning.

There is nothing like sitting around a table with a group of coaches. Everyone brings something different, different niches, different passions, different life experience, and somehow it all just clicks. We cheered each other on, swapped ideas, and even started talking through a few collaborations for the months ahead.

Some of the deepest conversations don't happen in a session, they happen over coffee with people who understand the work from the inside. That's exactly what this morning was. Coaching really is my calling, and getting to walk this road with colleagues who feel more like friends makes it even sweeter.☕️

What a night! She Reigns brought NAWBO Orlando together at the historic Heller Hall to welcome our incoming board, and the energy in that room was something special. 👑

We honored our past board members, played a tic tac toe networking game built around leadership, and sat together talking openly about the lessons, the leaps, and the moments that remind us why leadership matters.

Everyone went home with NAWBO umbrellas, custom crowns, and gold crown pendants to lead with a servant heart.

Huge thanks Duke Energy, our annual sponsor, for being in the room and supporting NAWBO Orlando all year long. To Spoleto Italian Kitchen, a woman owned business, for the delicious Italian feast. And to Winter Garden Heritage Foundation for opening up beautiful Heller Hall for the evening.

More photos and video coming soon. Here's a little teaser to hold you over.

Thinking about NAWBO membership? It's a new season for the Orlando chapter. Send us a message. Let's reign together. 👑

This is where I go when I need to ground myself again.

These old Florida oaks with the Spanish moss, the filtered light, the path that bends just enough that you can't see what's ahead. I’ve walked this more times than I can count. Sometimes fast. Sometimes barely moving. Always pondering the same thing.

Am I still moving toward what matters?

We are at the midpoint of 2026. And in my experience, this is the moment that separates the people who finish the year with intention from the ones who just finish the year.

Not "am I hitting my numbers?" Not "am I busy enough?"
But: Is the version of me showing up in July aligned with what I said I wanted when January began?

For high achievers and driven professionals, that gap — when it exists — is not failure. It's a signal. And the second half of the year is still wide open.

I've been building something for exactly this moment. New programs through Sunshine Coaching Group are coming very soon, designed for people who are ready to move forward with more clarity and courage.
Stay close. More to come. 🌿

For now in just one word.....'How does July find you?'

We are so excited for this one!!!!!!🌧️👑
Next Wednesday, July 15th, NAWBO Orlando is hosting She Reigns: A Leadership Shower, and it is unlike any board installation I have been part of. Instead of a formal handoff, we are throwing a celebration.🎉
Think baby shower energy, but for leadership. We are bestowing wisdom, well wishes, and a whole lot of encouragement on our incoming board, hearing real stories from the women who led before them, sharing a great dinner, and yes, playing some genuinely silly games along the way.

Joining NABOW has been one of the best decisions for Sunshine Coaching Group, and it comes down to relationships. I have always believed that relationships are the real currency of business, and NAWBO has proven that over and over again. Collaborations that started as a simple conversation over coffee. Encouragement on the days I needed it most. The chance to watch other women build their businesses in real time and learn from every stage of that journey. That is what this organization gives you, and it is exactly what we will be celebrating on the 15th.

A special thank you to my friend Kristi Karst Gomen and the Winter Garden Heritage Foundation for opening up Heller Hall and rolling out the hospitality for this event. It is going to be the perfect setting for the evening we have planned.

If you are an entrepreneur, thinking about becoming one, or just curious what NAWBO is really about, this is the night to come find out. You will get a feel for who we are and the kind of community that is waiting for you.

Here’s some Tuesday enrichment for your feed… 🐯🫧

Calypso, one of CFAR’s newest residents, has officially rated bubble enrichment: 10/10.

Because sometimes curiosity, play, and a few bubbles are exactly what’s needed to break up a hot Florida day.

Did you know Sunshine Coaching Group facilitates team leadership and nature-connected programs at Central Florida Animal Reserve?

Yes — tigers, lions, resilience, leadership, and a little wild inspiration included. 🌿🐾

Y'all, this morning's nature walk had me completely mesmerized!

The sun was just coming up and hitting the water and absolutely sparkling, like someone had scattered diamonds across the surface. Then I walked under the arch of the old Oaks and looked up into the Spanish moss, the way it moves so slowly and gracefully in the breeze with the light glowing through it... I could have stayed there for hours.

I've always been hypnotized by the way light behaves in nature. The same path never looks the same. Same trees, same water but different season, different time of day, different direction you're facing and it's a completely different world.

I actually teach a practice called 'light play' where you intentionally slow down and notice how light is moving and changing around you. It sounds simple, but it genuinely shifts something in your brain. You go from scattered and stressed to present and at ease, almost without trying.

I captured some really beautiful photos and video this morning and I'll be sharing them. Stay tuned! And if you're craving more of this kind of intentional connection with nature, something beautiful and new is coming your way soon. 🌿☀️
