Coming back from time away will always test something:

Your CEO rhythm.

Not just in your business…
But across everything you’re responsible for.

Because if I’m honest, I don’t struggle with structure. I actually think in structure.

My challenge is when my structure has no buffer. No margin. No space.

And that’s the space I work so hard to protect.

Some weeks are just fuller than others. The pull to jump into “catching up” is real. The pressure is real.

But reacting only adds to it. So instead, I stay anchored in my rhythm.

Not perfectly. But intentionally.

Because when structure includes space, you can lead clearly. When it doesn’t, everything starts to feel compressed.

And that’s the difference.

What does your CEO rhythm look like, and does it include space?

This week was full.

Work hard. Play hard.
MBA assignments. Client sessions. Networking events.
Preparing to head to Jacksonville for a women’s conference with my mom.

And behind the scenes?
Lots of changes and challenges inside our business, too. The unsexy stuff that we don’t like to talk about.

But one theme kept surfacing:

Time management.

As someone who lives by time blocking, it genuinely saddens me how many business owners struggle here. Not because they lack ambition. Not because they don’t care.

But because they lack clarity on ex*****on.

I recently worked with a client who runs a busy business with a small team. We didn’t change her pricing. We didn’t rebuild her brand.

We structured her calendar.

Clear priorities.
Defined focus time.
Intentional blocks for ex*****on instead of reaction.

The shift was immediate.

Here’s what most entrepreneurs still don’t understand:

Ex*****on is directly tied to clarity.
And clarity shows up first on your calendar.

If your calendar is chaotic, your leadership becomes reactive.

Structure creates margin.
Margin builds confidence.
Confidence sustains momentum.

My week was full.
But it wasn’t frantic.

That’s the power of leading your time instead of chasing it. And Miss makes every squeezed moment worth the wait.

I attended the Verizon Small Business Digital Ready Workshop today, and it was incredibly relevant for the times we’re in.

The focus was AI and cybersecurity, specifically how small business owners can better protect themselves from scams, digital threats, and preventable risks.

Armin Asady walked us through cybersecurity in a way that was clear, practical, and honestly a little eye-opening. The scams targeting small businesses are real, and protecting ourselves has to be intentional.

We also discussed AI. Not just what it can do, but how to use it wisely and responsibly in our businesses.

Two important topics. Both relevant and necessary.

We also heard from Verizon on the Digital Ready program, which offers free courses and resources for small business owners, covering everything from marketing and finance to AI and cybersecurity. It’s a tool I’ll absolutely continue recommending to the entrepreneurs I serve.

Grateful as well to the Seminole County Chamber for helping bring this type of event to our community, and 4Roots Farm, which hosted the event ending with a tour of their beautiful grounds.

So cool to see that innovation, security, and community can all coexist in the same space. 😊

As someone who’s deeply committed to supporting small businesses and community leadership through College of Florida SBDC, it was an honor to be part of this kickoff. The energy in the room was filled with possibility, and I’m excited about what this council means for the future of Apopka-area entrepreneurs.

Grateful to be in a space where innovation, connection, and impact are top priorities. If you’re a local business owner or leader looking to get more involved, this is one to watch.

Spotlight: Carrie Rene Thomas – Brand & Visibility Alchemist

Carrie didn’t come to talk about trends—she came to remind us of truth. In a world where AI is generating content by the second, the only thing that cuts through the noise is real connection.

Here’s what stood out:

🔹 It’s no longer just “know, like, trust. Audiences today crave content that makes them feel seen, heard, and understood.

🔹 People don’t just want information—they want resonance. Your content needs an emotional anchor that moves people, not just educates them.

🔹 Trust is built through rhythm and consistency. Show up when you say you will. Sound like you every time you do.

🔹 Signature insight wins. Your lived experience and how you share it is your edge.

💡 Biggest takeaway? The fastest way to build trust isn’t to say more—it’s to say what matters in a way only you can.

Carrie’s session was packed with clarity, strategy, and heart. Exactly what this space needed.

Spotlight: Britta Tabor – Faith & Fashion Influencer

There are some messages that stay with you long after the conference ends. And Britta’s was one of them.

✨ Don’t shrink—it’s time to shine.

She reminded us that our gifts weren’t meant to stay hidden. That when we hold back our “yes,” we might actually be delaying someone else’s blessing.

Her 4-P framework hit home:
🔹 Packed – Name your gift and talent
🔹 Placed – Choose your environment wisely
🔹 Pressed – Let pressure refine you, not break you
🔹 Proudly Shine – Step into your calling with faith and confidence

She challenged us to walk in purpose, not just talk about it. She did an illustration on how we bloom where we’re planted based on the space we’re in and that was a powerful visual.

To trust that we are the olive that produces the good oil, even when we’re in the process.

Britta blesses women from the inside out—faith, family, fashion, and femininity. And I’m walking away reminded that the work we do on the inside always shows up on the outside.

If you’ve been holding back—maybe it’s time to shine too. 🌟

Session: More Than Words: Using Media to Put Faith Back at the Center of Work

About a year ago, in the middle of a zoom conversation, Krystal stopped everything and prayed over me. She had no idea what I was navigating in that season, a major transition that had only just begun tugging at my heart.

But God knew. ❤️

That prayer? It became a turning point in my life and I started trusting and waiting and working. You see, there’s purpose in the wait.

Standing in the audience this week, hearing her speak truth with power, humility, and conviction… I couldn’t help but feel full-circle gratitude.

Krystal reminded us that:
🔹 We won’t be judged by the tools we have, but by what we did with them.
🔹 We are the greatest tool of communication history in the world.
🔹 The Great Commission doesn’t require perfection—it requires a willing spirit. We need to stop being silent.

Her message was a bold call to let our faith lead in our work, not just in theory, but in practice, platform, and presence.

I’m so proud of what God is doing in Krystal’s life. I look up to her leadership, her obedience, and her heart for kingdom impact in the marketplace.

This wasn’t just a session. It was a reminder of what’s possible when we use media with mission and boldness.

Spotlight: Justin Janowski, Faith 2 Influence

Justin’s session at Christian Creators 360, “Sales is Love,” was a much-needed mindset shift, especially for those of us who cringe at the idea of “selling.”

This wasn’t about pressure or persuasion. It was about purpose, service, and trust.

Here’s what stuck with me:

🔹 Many entrepreneurs struggle with sales not because they can’t do it, but because of the story they attach to it. Fear of rejection. Not wanting to sound pushy. Associating sales with being “dishonest.”

🔹 Justin reframed it completely: Sales is love. It’s an act of service rooted in clarity and care. If your offer can help someone, selling it is the right thing to do.

🔹 A high-integrity sales mindset starts with:
→ an empowered belief system
→ a clear plan
→ and a simple, loving process for inviting people into transformation

🔹 He asked: “What can you do today to make a sale this month?” That question wasn’t about pressure… it was about alignment. Staying present. Taking action without force.

🔹 His 3-step framework was both simple and effective:
✔️ Right-fit mission
✔️ Clear financial goals
✔️ Signature offers and lead strategy (short & long game)

💡 The reminder I needed? It’s not about convincing. It’s about connecting. Sales isn’t something you do to people, it’s something you do for them.

Truly grateful for this session and Justin’s heart for service through leadership.

I had the chance to sit in on “Shift Your Financial DNA: The Time is NOW” and let me just say… it was exactly the wake-up call many of us needed. I was so moved I grabbed her book Path to Profits on the spot (and yes, she has some amazing bonuses to go with it!).

Here are just a few of my key takeaways:

🔹 Most entrepreneurs aren’t running the business side of their business. Many are simply getting by month-to-month, not building sustainable success.

🔹 We chase everything but our calling. She challenged us to shift from chasing to aligning, especially when it comes to money.

🔹 Your financial mindset might be keeping you stuck. Statements like “I can’t afford that” or “It’s a write-off anyway” can actually reinforce avoidance, mismanagement, and missed opportunities.

🔹 We move through planned and unplanned transitions. And that’s okay, but what matters is how we show up and what we choose to learn from it.

🔹 Spending is not the same as building. She reminded us to lean into what we can afford right now, and invest in revenue-generating activities that matter (hello, IPAs: Income Producing Activities!).

💡 Bottom line?

You need to know your numbers, name your habits, and take radical responsibility for your money story if you want to grow a truly sustainable business.

So grateful for this session. Highly recommend checking out her work if you’re ready to break up with financial avoidance and step into your next level.

Spotlight: Heather Rosson – National Association of Christian Women Entrepreneurs

Heather shared powerful insight at Christian Creators 360 on “Why Most Communities Die (and How to Build One People Never Want to Leave).” Community isn’t built overnight—and it doesn’t thrive without intention.

And let me tell you, every word resonated, because if you know me, you know I love community. Especially, in person after being so zoomed out in the last few years. All the online noise just led me to virtual fatigue.

Her approach to sustainable community building centers around 3 core elements:

🔹 Attachment – People stay when they feel connected.
🔹 Contribution – They thrive when they feel their voice and value matter.
🔹 Emotional Safety – True belonging happens when people feel seen, supported, and safe.

Heather’s leadership at NACWE (National Association for Christian Women Entrepreneurs) is a living example of what it looks like to build with people, not just for them. But she doesn’t do it alone. She recognized her team and the women in this community for being the real heartbeat.

We each carry the power to cultivate connection. To lead with care. To create spaces people never want to leave.

And if you’ve ever been part of a community that changed your life, you know this work matters.

Lately, I’ve been more intentional about where I spend my time. Not because the invitations aren’t valuable, but because I know how much energy they pull from what I’m called to focus on in this season.

I had two tickets to PodFest this year. Last year, I was all in. This year? My energy just wasn’t there. But when my daughter said she was interested and couldn’t find a plus one… I shifted gears. And I’m so glad I did.

The past two days have been powerful. Watching her light up, take notes, engage, and soak in wisdom with curiosity and boldness… that was the real win. She’ll be launching her own podcast soon, and this experience was timely for her.

A heartfelt thank you to Heather Rosson from National Association of Christian Women Entrepreneurs for curating the Christian Creators 360 space. From worship and prayer to the Word and deep wisdom… it was exactly what we didn’t know we needed.

On the way home, VictoriaLynn said: “I feel like today wasn’t even about podcasts.” And I responded: “Cultivating your calling is never just about the podcast. It’s about developing you and your message.”

So this season of life looks different. But I’m grateful that even in the pivot, there’s purpose.

Sometimes being intentional means saying no to good things. And sometimes it means saying yes to the right ones, even when they weren’t part of the plan.
