This week, my top priority is getting rid of every cedar tree on my property. I’m no fire expert, but after covering countless wildfires, I’ve seen firsthand how these trees turn small flames into raging infernos.

Cedars burn fast because their fine, low-hanging foliage is packed with volatile oils. They act like a fire ladder, sending flames up into taller trees while throwing embers that spark new fires. Removing them is a no-brainer for fire safety!
