Here's what we've been up to the last few weeks!

Preschool has started at Copper Ridge Care! Now that our group is getting older we have implemented a new schedule and preschool curriculum. New/continued daily components include:

- Daily (same schedule every week) focus including alphabet, writing, reading, storytelling, counting, patterns, and STEM, all presented in developmentally appropriate and fluid ways for our multi-age group.
- Social Emotional Learning time to continue focusing on feeling identification, emotion regulation, and relationship building skills.
- Movement/outside/wiggle time.
- Self-guided free play opportunities several times a day to practice and reinforce the skills we're learning.
- Jobs for each of us to build a sense of community and pride in our learning space, as well as helping us learn activities of daily living and self-help skills.
- Group projects and activities to practice collaboration, teamwork, and teaching and learning from each other.

We are no longer accepting infants as we will be focusing exclusively on our preschool program.

Next opening for age 2+ in April 2022.

Licensed in-home childcare program in South WLicensed in-home childcare program in South Woodbury. Program is owned and operated by a clinical therapist, which has heavily influenced the design and curriculum. We love to practice building inter/intrapersonal skills and social emotional learning through play, which is how we learn best! We are increasing preschool structure and curriculum as our group continues to age, with daily focus on self-help skills, literacy, sensory, and outdoor play. We laugh, dance, hug and sing every day! Monday through Friday, 7-4:30.
