I'm continuing to expand the selection of PETG filament colors available through Volunteer Design Co. to give you more options for your projects. From classic blacks and whites to vibrant reds, blues, greens, and wood-tone finishes, there's a color to match just about any idea.

If you are looking for something custom, this is a list of common colors available. If I don't have it stocked already, I will add to my collection based on customer requests.

Custom 4th of July Can Coolers 🇺🇸

A customer was looking for a unique party favor to celebrate the 4th of July and wanted personalized can coolers that guests would actually use and remember.

Starting with a design from MakerWorld, I customized and modified it to match the customer's vision, incorporating their requested colors and personalized lid design to create something unique for their celebration.

The finished coolers were a huge hit, and the customer shared that their guests loved receiving a customized keepsake they could take home after the party.

Projects like this are a great reminder that customization can turn an everyday item into something memorable.

Custom Portable A/C Trailer Vent - Designed from the Ground Up

A customer was converting a 6' × 12' enclosed trailer into a comfortable workspace and needed a way to vent a portable air conditioner outside.

The problem? Traditional vent kits weren't designed for this application and wouldn't provide a clean, secure installation through the trailer wall.

Using Fusion 360, I designed a custom two-piece vent system that mounts through a 6-inch opening in the trailer wall. The design allows the original portable A/C exhaust hose to securely clip onto the vent while providing a clean, finished appearance both inside and outside of the trailer.

This project included:

📐 Custom CAD design in Fusion 360
🖨️ Functional 3D printed prototype
🔧 Two-piece construction for easy installation
🌬️ Compatible with the factory portable A/C exhaust hose
🚚 Designed specifically for enclosed trailers, campers, workshops, or similar applications

Another project completed!

A customer reached out looking for replacements for the Cuddeback trail camera solar panel locking cable retainer clip. Unfortunately, the original part has been discontinued, leaving few options for replacing a small but essential component.

Using Fusion 360, I was able to reverse-engineer the original clip, recreate it from scratch, and make a few design improvements along the way. The updated design maintains compatibility with the original application while improving printability and durability.

This is exactly the type of project I enjoy, taking a discontinued or hard-to-find part and giving it new life through custom design and 3D printing.
