Hello,

The AFRL D'Azzo Research Library now has a new website:

http://www.wpafb.af.mil/afrl/wrslibrary/

Please update any bookmarks you have that point to our old website. The
library's former website will be deactivated soon, once its server is
removed from the network.

The new website is still very much a work in progress, and you may notice
various changes from time to time. Please feel free to contact us with any

Library Hours during Government Shutdown
The AFRL D'Azzo Research Library is open normal business hours (Mon-Thurs: 0730-1800, Fri: 0730-1700) during the furlough/shutdown. Library staff are available to assist AFRL researchers in-person and via telephone, email, or instant messaging

In December the AFRL D'Azzo Research Library is offering on-site training from IHS. Training will be conducted on IHS's ESDU product (6 Dec) and Haystack Gold and Standards Expert products (7 Dec). This is a valuable opportunity to receive training directly from IHS instructors on these resources. All training sessions will take place in the AFRL D'Azzo Research Library's Computer Classroom.
-ESDU (Tuesday 6 Dec) 0900-1000 and 1300-1400
-Haystack Gold (Wednesday 7 Dec) 0900-1030
-Standards Expert (Wednesday 7 Dec) 1100-1200 and 1300-1400

On Friday 09 SEP 2011 the AFRL D'Azzo Research Library is offering three 1-hour-long seminars on the Web of Science database for AFRL. These classes will be held at 0900, 1000, and 1100. Topics to be covered will include:
- An introduction to using a citation index
- Tips on basic topic and author searching
- How to work with search results
- Saving searches and setting up alerts
- An introduction to ResearcherID

If you have not used the database you will need to register.
