Wanted to get ahead of the ball and put out there our stance on printing AI generated images through us.
It is, and will always be a “NO.”
We will not put in the effort to make the absolute poor image quality these LLMs produce onto paper. That right should and always be reserved for those that put in the work and effort into making their designs, shots, layout, photographs, onto a physical medium.
The models used for AI generation is all stolen and scraped copyrighted data from the internet and the huge negative environmental impact these data centers have on our air and water quality within the communities they are being built in. Not to mention, directly is the reason why the hardware we use to make our works, like our desktops, laptops, cameras, flash memory, even large storage drives, all have gone up thanks to this AI garbage.
And yes, we can tell if an image is AI generated. You can’t hide that with those fliers we’ve all seen over the Internet that are all look the same.
