🇺🇸 September 11, 2001 — We Remember. 🇺🇸

25 years later, we still remember the 2,977 lives lost, the families forever changed, and the courage shown by so many in the face of unimaginable tragedy.

We especially remember the 343 firefighters and 60 police officers who made the ultimate sacrifice while running toward danger to help others.

Their courage, sacrifice, and dedication continue to inspire firefighters and first responders everywhere.

Today, Gleed Fire & Rescue honors those we lost, stands with the families who continue to carry their memory, and remembers the simple truth:

Never Forget. 🇺🇸🚒

🇺🇸🚒 Happy Labor Day from all of us at Gleed Fire & Rescue!

There’s something special about a small-town community. We know our neighbors, look out for one another, and come together when someone needs a helping hand.

Today, we’re grateful for everyone who works hard to make our community the place we’re proud to call home—and especially for the volunteers who give their time to serve their neighbors.

Have a safe, Happy Labor Day! 🚒🇺🇸

We’d like to take a moment to remind everyone that even though the Yakima County burn ban has ended, there is still a Statewide Burn Ban that remains in effect until September 30th. Please no outdoor burning. We appreciate your help in keeping our community safe!
