A customer called us last week convinced their washer was done for. It wasn't draining, the tub wouldn't spin — they were already pricing out new machines. 💧

We diagnosed a clogged drain pump and had it back up and running the same day. Total cost? About $200.

A comparable new washer runs $500 to $1,300. That's a $300 to $1,100 savings by choosing repair over replacement.

Repair Can Save You Hundreds — and in this case, it really did. If your washer is acting up, give us a call before you write it off.

Ending August with a reminder: loud, scary noises from your dryer don't always mean it's time for a new one 👕

Greg in Yankton called thinking his dryer was on its last legs — grinding noise that made the whole laundry room shake. We found worn-out drum support rollers. Replaced them, lubricated the assembly, and the dryer's running quiet as the day he bought it.

Repair: $220. New dryer: $600+. Greg's words: "I can't believe I almost spent that money."

That's what we do. Before you replace, call for a diagnosis. You might be surprised what can be fixed.

This was a close one. The Andersons came home from a weekend trip to find their refrigerator had stopped cooling — food spoiled, stress levels high 😟

They were convinced they needed a new fridge. We took a look and found a failed start relay on the compressor — a $50 part and 30 minutes of labor. The fridge was back at 37 degrees before lunch.

Total repair: under $250. Replacement cost they were quoted at Home Depot: $1,400 plus delivery. That's over $1,000 they kept in their pocket.

Before you panic-buy a new appliance, call us for a diagnosis.

Washer full of water that won't drain? Here's what's probably going on 🧺

Three things usually cause this: a clogged drain pump, a broken drain pump, or a kinked drain hose. The first one is the most common — socks, coins, and who-knows-what find their way into the pump and jam it up.

Good news is most drain issues are fixable. Clogs can be cleared. Pumps can be replaced. Typical repair range: $200-$300. A new washer? $500 to $1,300, plus delivery and installation.

Before you shop, call for a diagnosis. It's usually a simpler fix than you think.
