Today we're launching PhishTested — a subscription platform that helps families practice spotting scams before becoming a victim.
Scams aren't easy to spot anymore. They're personalized, fast, and engineered to exploit trust, urgency, and fear — across email, text, voice calls, social media, and QR codes. They reach children, parents, and grandparents alike. No company is building the one thing that actually protects people in the moment: digital judgment. We believe it's a new life skill — and like any skill, it needs constant practice.
That's what PhishTested builds. We help families develop digital judgment through realistic, scenario-based quizzes covering phishing, impersonation, fake urgency, social media scams, and other modern tactics. Our Parent Readiness Dashboard lets parents gate privileges like a phone or social media access on their teen's demonstrated awareness score — so the conversation stops being "are you ready?" and starts being "here's the bar to clear."
We launched today with 290+ questions across 9 categories, with age-appropriate content for teens, adults, and seniors. New categories get added as new tactics emerge, and we regularly refresh fast-moving categories like Phone Safety, Social Media Scams, and Crypto — because mastering today's scams doesn't protect against next month's.
Online safety is a core life skill. And like any life skill, it needs practice.
We'd love feedback from parents, caregivers, educators, online safety experts, and investors who believe family digital safety deserves better tools.
If this resonates, please share this post. And if you know someone who'd benefit, send them the website directly — email, text, or a quick call.
