Welcome to my business page, friends! I am trying out something new. I have been sorting through thrift stores and estate sales years in search of wonderful and interesting items that catch my eye or imagination. I love learning about the history of objects; those stories tell us so much about life before our time. And they often end us telling us something about ourselves too. Since leaving the teaching profession, I have turned my hobby into a small business. I needed more flexibility in my schedule, and I wanted to spend more time with my sweet Mama. My new online resell business, VintageVerse Finds, gives me both! And best of all, I can offer a sustainable choice to buyers looking for that special gift. No new resources are being used to create the items I purchase, and when I do ship, I use only packing supplies that have been used before. I have purchased ZERO paper, boxes, bubble wrap, etc. since I began selling over a year ago.
I enjoy uniting special objects with people who will treasure them give them a second (or third) life. If you are ever looking for a lost childhood book or toy or that vintage candy dish you raided anytime you visited your grandparents, let me know, and I will be on the lookout for you. I also find even new or "like new" items that have been donated for whatever reason.
On this page, I will share items for sale and also stories from the Vintage Verse! Often, the people I meet and the facts of the past I discover are more valuable than anything I sell. I will share those too.
