๐ ATTENTION ALL DRIVERS ๐
Always Connect to Your ELD โ No Exceptions!
Even if youโre moving the truck for just 1 or 2 miles, you MUST log into your ELD before driving.
โ ๏ธ Why It Matters
YARD MOVES & UNASSIGNED MILES: Unconnected miles create Unassigned Driving Events. Clearing these takes extra time and causes unnecessary logs checks.
INSPECTION & COMPLIANCE: DOT officers inspect unassigned miles during roadside stops. A short drive without logging in can result in a logbook violation.
STAY PROTECTED: Connecting every time keeps your record clean and saves you from preventable fines and safety score drops.
๐ฒ Quick Checklist Before You Shift Into Drive:
Open your ELD App.
Ensure Bluetooth / Cable is connected to the vehicle.
Confirm you are in the correct status (Driving / Yard Move).
Rule of Thumb: If the wheels are rolling, your ELD should be connected! ๐๐จ
