In 2016, I agreed to assist DYAS with designing a youth center for our BVI Youth. I was inspired to create this design and re-inspired walking into the realized vision.

Design Tip of the Week

Choosing the perfect wall colour can be overwhelming because the wrong hue can make or break your overall design.

That's why you should always select colors in natural sunlight because this is truest representation of what the color looks like.

Artificial lighting can distort and even change the appearance of the color which is known as metamerism.

Therefore I urge you take a cue from photographers that know for sure that

Mixing patterns is an art form based on color + scale. Make sure the patterns vary in size but are similar in color. The colors do not have to be exact but should be close enough to create a unified look.

Honeycomb tiles are trending now. It's such a sophisticated geometric pattern. It's definitely unexpected and the perfect way to think outside the box. Literally!
