Wanted to capture the final sunset of 2014, but didn't want to do the typical overdone sunset picture. Wanted something different or at least to capture the essence of that sunset.

Because you can never have too many memory cards! Got a great deal on these 16gb Transcend Premium SD cards and the one 16gb PixelFlash CF card. Time to fill them up now!

We love our gear here at Cruzan Visions Photo. Our latest acquisition for our Nikon kit is the Nikkor 35mm f1.8G. This is one sweet little lens! It's lightweight, compact, and has amazing image quality. Being a 35mm prime lens ( close to 50mm field of view in DX crop sensor terms) it works well for many situations. It's F1.8 aperture allows for great low light wok and stunning bokeh. I have a feeling that this lens will see lots of use in upcoming shoots. Here are some quick pics of it on the Nikon D7100 and compared to the big boy Canon 7D with the Sigma 17-70mm f2.8 lens.
