Instead, this dynamic nation of 100 million is charging ahead with a clear mission: target 8 % GDP growth in 2025, accelerate digital transformation, and move toward milestone goals — attaining upper middle-income status by 2030 and becoming a developed nation by 2045.

This year also marks the 30th anniversary of Vietnam’s membership in ASEAN. As Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Nguyen Minh Hang notes, ASEAN remains central to Vietnam’s strategy: “ASEAN has been and will continue to be a cornerstone in our foreign policy. We see ASEAN as a new engine for global economic growth.”

As the gateway city of central Vietnam, Da Nang epitomizes this spirit of openness and opportunity. Through the Da Nang – ASEAN Business Group and the Vietnam – ASEAN Business Summit, we are working to transform national ambitions into regional realities, connecting investors, entrepreneurs and partners to shape the future of ASEAN’s growth.

Da Nang ASEAN Business Group is a demand responsive platform to integrate
Da Nang’s business community with the broader ASEAN marketplace and
enhance Da Nang’s position as a city to Live, Work & Play.

Mission

By understanding the needs & gaps of local entrepreneurs, we will work closely
with both private and public sector to curate initiatives and deploy solutions for
Da Nang to be a regional and global hub.

We will connect and engage with key verticals within ASEAN to raise the
awareness and visibility of Da Nang through a series of structured activities.

Da Nang ASEAN Business Group will serve as a thought leader with our
international panel of experts and advisors by actively utilizing their knowledge
on best practices, as well as network and resources for Da Nang’s sustainable
development.
