A dream that is made into reality through their friends and family, team, and of course, their guests.

With a menu of one item and one item only, done so perfectly, a line stretches an entire block with eager guests just waiting their turn. The Yatai style, literal translation to "shop stand", seats up to 8 ramen lovers at a time and constantly churns out steaming bowls of shoyu ramen until they're out of ingredients.

Just getting started, AOYA is taking life one day at a time, one delicious bowl of ramen at a time. Whether it's the stall or a mobile van travelling across the country, the AOYA team is certain that they'll continue to do their best in any case.

It was a dream that became a reality, then taken away all too fast.

Izakaya QURU was meant to be a Japanese-inspired bar for the proper drinkers. No frills, just spirits and ice. With a rotating sake selection of every grade, rare shochus spanning from barley to sesame, and shelves of premium spirits, QURU was nested away in one of the popular "cafe apartments".

QURU, a portmanteau of the Vietnamese words "quán rượu" or alcohol shop, was a fantasy for newcomer Khoa Nguyen back in late 2019. Coming right out of the craft beer industry, he was given the opportunity to leave his own mark in Saigon. It was unfortunate that the dream was short lived as the bar could not anticipate what was to become of the world in early 2020.

In what felt like the blink-of-an-eye, QURU shut its doors just mere months after opening. It would have been nice, and interesting, to see where this potential venue could've gone.
