Agroforestry Consultancy Rozendale

Agroforestry Consultancy Rozendale Agroforestry Consultancy Rozendale (ACR) collects detailed information about agroforestry tree species since 2013.

In Agroforestry trees are planted for commercial purposes and for conservation purposes. ACR gathered detailed information about 400-500 agroforestry species so far. The data is stored in a database which is able to filter trees by demands of the client. For each species ACR can provide trainings about propagation and maintaining plantations. ACR promotes agriculture from perennial crops and it promotes intercropping different species.

We all know that Agroforestry is good for the environment, but commercial activities remains the priority of land owners. And only their children can harvest them.

However, the ecological benefits for the land and the future commercial benefits should banks grant people mortgages to buy land. First of all perennial vegetation prevent soil, nutrient, and water erosion.

There are important elements in the soil: N (nitrogen), P (Phosphor), K (Potassium). Nitrogen and Carbon are often in the air, and a the valuable timber species of the Fabaceae family can turn them into Ammonia and surrounding plants benefit from that. CO2 (carbon dioxide) is also in the air and all plants can turn them into organic matter, which is like a house for nutrients and water. Further there are elements that can leach easily and are then replaced by hydrogen, which makes the soil acidic.

There are also important micro organisms that help plants to get micro-nutrients. Such as fungi that cause Mycorrhizae and bacteria that cause nitrogen fixation. Those only work in symbiosis with living plants that provide carbons.

If the land owner decides to cultivate annual crops, burn organic matter back into the atmosphere or keep land furrow; I believe politicians and loan providers should depreciate providing land. Nevertheless, keep the new landowner freedom and property rights for the far future.

The delicious fruit tree Abiu and the valuable timber tree Anigre are in the same genus. Cultivars of fruit trees are almost always grafted. It might be a great idea to graft Abiu on Anigre because then that tree provides besides fruit also timber crops.

However, a faster growth due to such root-stock decreases fruit quality and picking would be difficult. Applying zeatin hormons, however, would reduce this problem and increase fruit size. Slower growth of the timber would also mean a finer grain; thus, better quality of wood.

We all know that Agroforestry is good for the environment, but commercial activities remain the priority of land owners. Only their children can harvest them.

However, the ecological benefits for the land and the future commercial benefits should banks grant mortgages to buy land for people with agroforestry initiatives. First of all perennial vegetation prevents soil, nutrient, and water erosion.

There are important elements in the soil: N (nitrogen), P (Phosphor), K (Potassium). Nitrogen and Carbon are often in the air and a the valuable timber species of the Fabaceae family can turn them into Ammonia and surrounding plants benefit from that. CO2 (carbon dioxide) is also in the air and all plants can turn them into organic matter, which is housing for nutrients and water. Further there are elements that can leach easily and are then be replaced by hydrogen, which makes the soil acidic.

Because when the water content and fertility of land dissapears, the land's value will be lower. Nevertheless, keep the new landowner freedom and property rights for the far future.

Planting a Tectona grandis, Ficus carica and Adenanthera pavonina on a slope during the dry season.

On top of the hill was a hole dug that became a big pile of litter (about 20 wheelbarrows), manure and ash. It is slowly releasing water and nutrients for the transplanted seedlings during the dry season. Grass is planted to stabilize the loose soil and to favour ants vs. termites.

If this was planted just before the rainy season, the whole stuff is probably going to be eroded.

Swietania macrophylla (true mahogay) was planted before. And for the valuable rosewood Dalbergia bariensis (rosewood) and for Sindora siamensis, and Intsia bijuga (merbau) there isn't enough irrigation yet. They will be planted in March.

Many people blame excessive CO2 emission for global warming, but actually the lack of water evaporation through plant's leaves is causing global warming. In the Netherlands I remember a news report of a hot spring of which one place was exceptionally hot. That was a big land of uncultivated land because the farmer has just ploughed it.

Then here in Vietnam it supposed to be rainy season already. Which it is in the farm area of perennial crops, natural lands, and other evergreen lands, but in the big city Ho Chi Minh is no rain.
