How do you understand about color wheel?

Basic colors:
1. Red - intensity, love, excitement
2. Yellow - joy, happiness, intellect
3. Green - freshness, safety, growth
4. Blue - stability, trust, serenity (being peaceful and calm)
5. Purple - royalty, wealth, femininity
Color palette classifications:
1. Analogous colors - harmonious and easy to look at
2. Complementary colors - attention grabbing but user doesn’t want to be staring at clashing colors all the time
3. Split colors - less flashy and easier to look at, but still keep the attention grabbing
4. Triadic colors - tend to be quite well ballanced and still attention grabbing (a little bit dated, the 90s)
5. Monochromatic colors - taking the same color and combining it with either various amounts of white or various amounts of black, it tends to be incredibly contemporary and work really well for modern digital design
