The Vietnam National Textile and Garment Group (Vinatex) is leveraging its 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐁𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫 (𝐏𝐃&𝐁) as a key driver in the nation’s transition to FOB manufacturing.

On May 13, 2025, Vinatex PD&B successfully held its 1st Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term, marking a significant milestone in the group’s journey. This event marked an important step in strengthening internal leadership and aligning Vinatex’s goals, particularly for the transition to FOB manufacturing.

Vinatex PD&B will play a pivotal role in achieving this transition by focusing on the following key strategies:

• 𝐄𝐧𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭: Strengthening product development to create innovative designs that meet international buyer needs.

• 𝐁𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐲 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐢𝐧: Developing a local knitted textile chain and using more domestic materials to reduce dependency on external sources.

• 𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬: The PD&B will act as the central point for business activities, ensuring smoother coordination across all stages of production.

• 𝐅𝐨𝐜𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲: Vinatex is committed to using eco-friendly and sustainable practices in line with global trends.

Through these initiatives, Vinatex is poised to transform its manufacturing approach and position Vietnam as a competitive player in the high-value textile sector.

VINATEX Hub Receives LOTUS Gold Certification for Sustainability🏅
We are excited to share that our VINATEX PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT AND BUSINESS HUB in Hanoi has been awarded the LOTUS Small Building V1 Gold Certification! This prestigious recognition underscores our commitment to sustainability and the creation of healthier, more eco-friendly workspaces for all.

Spanning 2,453 m², our hub incorporates a variety of green features that enhance both energy efficiency and environmental responsibility:
- Energy Efficiency: Inverter HVAC units, energy monitors, and high luminous efficacy lights mean lower energy consumption and a reduced carbon footprint.
- Water Conservation: With low-flow fixtures, native plants, and a state-of-the-art drinking water filtration system, we’re minimizing water waste and conserving precious resources.
- Sustainable Materials: Over 40% of non-structural walls and 53.6% of windows and doors have been reused from the original building, giving new life to valuable materials.
- Health & Comfort: Fresh air, natural daylight, and low-VOC paints provide a healthy, comfortable environment for all occupants.
- Environmental Impact: 49.87% of the site remains underdeveloped, and 16% is vegetated with native plants, supporting local biodiversity.

Vinatex Product Development and Business Center supports the individuals affected by Typhoon No. 3 (Yagi) 🫶
In response to the call from the Vietnam Textile and Garment Group, the Vinatex Product Development and Business Center (Vinatex PD&B) proudly joined the movement of solidarity to support those affected by Typhoon No. 3.

💙 On September 14th, our dedicated team contributed one day's salary to aid those impacted by the natural disaster. It's our small gesture to help communities recover and rebuild after the storm's devastation.
