Half the room can’t hear the person at the front. That’s an equipment problem, not a presentation one.

PacNet now installs Smart Audio-Visual systems with PeopleLink Unified Communications Pvt Ltd. interactive displays, smart digital podiums, ceiling microphones and speakers, tracking cameras.

For schools, universities, businesses and churches. And we handle the connectivity underneath it too.

Comment if your office needs this, or call 24777 for a demo.

“The internet is now operational, and the quality of service is excellent.”

That’s Isso Nihamei, Administrator of the Futuna Area Council , speaking from Futuna, the southern part in Vanuatu and one of the hardest places in the country to reach with anything.

No cable was ever going to run there. No tower was ever going to be justified for a population that size, that far east. For years the answer to “when will Futuna get proper internet” was that nobody had a plan and nobody was pretending otherwise.

It’s connected now. Not a trial, not a pilot, an Area Council office with a working connection, which means local government administration, communication with Port Vila, and a community that can reach the rest of the country without waiting for a boat or a flight.

Thank you Isso, and thank you to everyone at the Futuna Area Council for trusting us with it. Hearing “the quality of service is excellent” from somewhere this remote means more than anything we could say about ourselves.

If your island, your council or your community has been told to wait, comment where you are. We’ll give you a straight answer about what’s possible, the same way we did for Futuna.

No grid power. No cable. No tower. No waiting list.

Everything in this picture fits in a vehicle and sets up in an afternoon: a solar panel, a battery, a Starlink kit, and a router. That’s a working internet connection in a place where no line was ever built.

It runs a house. It runs a shop. With a voucher system it runs a whole village and covers its own costs.

The thing most people still assume is that remote places are waiting on infrastructure that has to be built first. For a lot of Vanuatu that wait is already over.

Comment your village and we’ll tell you straight whether it works there. Or call 24777.

"True 24/7 availability, including weekends, when many other providers are closed."

That's the line we're proudest of, and it came from Silvana Nicholls, Co-owner and General Manager of Rockwater Resort Tanna on Tanna Island.

Running a resort on Tanna means your connection isn't a convenience. It's bookings, payments, guest Wi-Fi, and staying reachable from an island where the nearest technician isn't around the corner. When something goes wrong on a Saturday afternoon, "we'll look at it Monday" isn't an answer anyone can work with.

So we don't say it. Someone picks up.

Thank you Silvana and the whole team at Rockwaterit means a lot coming from people who are themselves running one of the best-regarded operations on Tanna.

And if you're on Tanna wondering whether reliable internet is actually possible out there: it is, and Rockwater has been proving it.

Running a business somewhere people assume is too remote? Comment your island or send us a message. We'll tell you straight what's possible where you are.

If you live in Mele, this is the post you've been waiting for.

Here's the thing about Mele, you're not remote. You're twenty minutes from town. And that's exactly why the connection problem here is so frustrating, because being close to Port Vila was supposed to mean it just works.

It often doesn't. Being near the capital puts you at the edge of coverage built for the capital, sharing a network with everyone in it. Full bars, nothing loads. Fine in the morning, unusable at six in the evening when the whole bay is online at once.

Satellite doesn't work that way. It doesn't share the local network and it doesn't care how many people in Port Vila are streaming, which is why it often makes more difference in places like Mele than people expect.

It works for a house, a shop, a guesthouse, or a whole community sharing one connection with a voucher system.

Yu stap long wanem ples? Comment your village, Mele, Mele Maat, Pango, Erakor, anywhere on Efate, and we'll tell you straight whether it's worth it where you are. No sales pitch, just a real answer.

Your business already has an IT person. It's usually whoever is best with computers, and it isn't their job.

You know who it is. The accounts person who ended up in charge of the printer. The manager who gets called when nobody can log in. The one staff member who knows every password by heart and never asked to.

It works, until they're on leave, or they've left, or they're busy doing the job you actually hired them for. Then the shared drive won't open, nobody knows who to call, and half a morning disappears.

That's what managed IT is really for. Not because you have no one, but because the person you have is doing it instead of their own work.

PacNet handles the ordinary things that eat your week: user accounts and logins, Microsoft 365, servers and backups, network and internet, phone systems, and security. One local provider, and someone who answers when it breaks.

Two questions worth asking about your own business. If your most technical staff member left next month, what stops working? And when something breaks, is anyone actually responsible for fixing it, or does it land on whoever's free?

Call 24777 or send us a message and we'll take a look at your setup. No charge, and we'll tell you honestly if what you've got is already fine.

Bigfala niu blong evri aelan! 🌏 Starlink is here, and PacNet can connect you; fast, reliable internet wherever you are in Vanuatu, even off the main grid. Whether you're on Efate, Santo, or a remote outer island, good connectivity shouldn't depend on where you live.

Ready to get connected? Call us on 24777 or visit pacificnetworks.net. Our team in Nambatu, Port Vila is ready to help.

📍 100% Ni-Vanuatu owned. Built for every island.

There's no worse timing than the 89th minute.

Everyone leaning in, and the screen freezes. By the time it comes back, the group chat has already told you what happened.

It's not your TV. It's your internet, and it drops exactly when everyone else is online watching the same thing.

Starlink from PacNet doesn't share that network. Call 24777 or send us a message.

Comment when this happened to you.
