We take a moment to reflect on the recent Sāmoa Arts Fono—a game-changing gathering of private sector stakeholders in the cultural industry including artists, art collectives, musicians, writers, poets, choreographers, heritage artists, curators, producers, researchers, scholars, museum officers, art educators, business entrepreneurs, and policymakers in Sāmoa in-dialogue with their peers from American Sāmoa, Aotearoa New Zealand, and Fiji.

The Sāmoa Arts Fono tackled multifaceted challenges such as limited resources, cultural preservation, artistic creation and the need for sustainable practices.

Here are some brief reflections from our panellists. Longer interviews are available on our YouTube channel.
