It is often said that the inhabitants of a house make it a home. Well, that's not the case with this particular house - this one speaks for itself. It stands high and mighty, but it's not intimidating in its grandeur. It radiates a positive, calming energy, and once you're in it, you'll find it hard to leave.
As you stand at the entrance, a simple but elegant stone pathway welcomes you in. This pathway is framed by a carefully selected array of plants on either side, with a lamp post fixed in place to add an element of mystery. There's a foyer connecting the old house to the new with conveniently placed seating arrangements where you can spend countless hours enjoying a cup of tea or gazing up at the night sky.
The interior is just as gorgeous. The soft yellow-golden light that comes from the hanging lamps enhances the initial feeling of warmth, while also providing a sense of sophistication. The walls are painted a soft white and complimented with patterned wallpaper that adds to the charm. Every aspect of the house, from the modular kitchen to the overarching bookshelves to even the positioning of the stairs, have been done with such precision and care that it is evident that the architect had envisioned every little detail in stone.
The house stands in such stark contrast to its surroundings that as you step in, you feel like you've been transported elsewhere, yet there's a sense of familiarity that makes you feel comforted. It's unique, and is sure to revolutionize architecture in this area for generations to come.
