Hi — I'm Edil. If you're new here, or it's just been a while, here's the short version of why I do this.
I grew up close to nature. Food came from the ground, not the store — it was just normal to know what was growing and when it was ready to eat.
When I moved here, something struck me. Yard after yard, all around Chester County and the Main Line — beautiful space, completely underused. Families with land right outside their door, and almost none of it growing anything.
So I started Backyard Orchard Design.
Not to sell trees. To help people turn their yards into something that grows food, looks incredible, and gets better every single year it's in the ground.
I design it. I install it. I stick around after — because a fruit tree isn't a one-time purchase, it's a relationship with your land that pays you back for decades.
If we haven't met yet: I'm based in Phoenixville, working with homeowners across Chester County and the Main Line who want their yard to actually do something. Beautiful and productive were never supposed to be a trade-off.
Plant beauty. Grow legacy. Taste abundance. 🍎
Fall is actually one of the best times to plant — the soil's still warm, the air's cooling off, and the trees get a head start on roots before spring ever arrives.
So tell me — has your yard been sitting there with untapped potential, or have you already got fruit trees in the ground?
