🎭 Sometimes, it’s easy for actors to feel like they have little control over their careers.

☝️ The best thing you can do is take small steps that put the power back in your hands:

✏️ Write a list of acting goals

What do you want from your career? What are your dream roles? Do you want to work in theatre/television/film? What are your financial goals from acting?

💻 Update your Spotlight or website

Make a list of all recent work, new skills and add links to any filmed work that makes you particularly proud.

✉️ Email your agent

Keep lines of communication open. Be at the top of their inbox and show your keenness to progress your career!

📸 Update your headshots

Many people will have the same headshots from the start of 2020 – now could be a good time to refresh your appearance and capture your current look.

🎙 And of course, we’d have to say, update your voice reel!

- Following our Zoom consultation - where we discussed your casting and what you want to get from the session - we’ll set up a structure for the recording

- We’ll run through the script to make sure you’re happy with it, answer questions and make any adjustments

- We’ll get you set up in the booth and if you’d like, run through some vocal warm ups

- Then we start recording. The session lasts a minimum of two hours, or until you’re happy with your performance
