ABOUT OUR REFILLS 🌱Our goal in creating On Repeat was not simply to reduce the waste we create, but to eliminate it entirely and design it out from the start.We realised there is no magic unicorn when it comes to plastics and packaging waste so we set up our world-first refill system to enable brands to deliver truly sustainable,plastic-free, compostable refills to their customers. Our system is unique because we work reactively and are fill to order, which enables us to work with market leading technology in compostable films that will biodegrade.As such our packaging is intended only for transporting your products - the materials are designed to biodegrade which means that it has a limited shelf life once filled. As a solution, our fulfilment facility was set up so we can take the work off your hands and to make this process as easy as possible to implement. 🌏♻️

OUR MATERIALS 🌱Our compostable film is suitable for most aqueous products.It is certified commercially compostable, but will also breakdown in home compost conditions in around 32 weeks. Oneof the layers is metalised to improve barrier quality. This is asmall vapour deposition of aluminium and has no effect onecotoxicity. In a compost heap it oxidises to aluminium oxidewhich is inert. Overall the film has a bio base of 55%. Disposalin garden waste (not food) - 97% of local councils in the UKcurrently have green waste collections. (WRAP) 🌏♻️

MEET THE TEAM 💫 Ben is On Repeat’s quintessential gent, a natural wine importer and bonafide professor of plastics. Having spent two years researching soft plastics, compostable materials and recycling streams (yes, we’re lucky Ben’s still breathing!), we were able to create our fill-to-order refill model using the latest developments in compostable film. MEET THE TEAM 💫 On Repeat is the brainchild of Micaela, a clean skincare formulator and brand owner, originally hailing from the sunny shores of Australia’s East Coast. Micaela was touring the world in the live music industry for years which lead to many a late night and problematic skin. Tiring of touring, she retrained in skincare formulation and started one of London’s coolest indie skincare brands. Micaela dreamt up On Repeat as a solution to offer refills to her brands own customers, and built it as its own company to attempt to reduce waste created across the beauty industry. MEET THE TEAM 💫 Hannah originates from the sunny shores of Australia’s West Coast but has spent the last twelve years working on brand partnerships and beauty PR in London. Being a surfer and lover of the ocean, she was instantly on board the On Repeat mission after co-Founder Micaela told her of her dream for compostable refills and creating a zero waste packaging solution for the industry she loves.
