Oh, Death, you are truly blind and deaf... you barely don't know where to go or where you came from. You strike a single soul twice and even continue striking. You see not age, health, wealth, education, nor religion. You hear not cry, joy, sadness, or grief. You visit the rich, the poor, the middle class, at night, in the day, in seconds. You ask nobody for permission, condition, or willingness. You take it at any time as if you don't know how precious life is to man. Feel not for mercy on us, our children, our parents, our good friends, not even our holiness towards God. You hear not our cry, our appeals, or our patience. You take away everything in seconds. Sometimes we are constrained and depressed out of frustration to ask if we really deserve to be born, because you will take us away no matter our being. But we need not to be in doubt or question God as He remains above everyone in any way. This is how we feel, oh death, be it you or us, we feel pain.

Fellow citizens of Lofa County, we're facing a serious threat from the Guinean military over our land, which we've cultivated for over 200 years. This isn't just about territory; it's a challenge to our very existence and sovereignty.
In these difficult times, let's remember the painful experiences of our past wars and conflicts. War isn't the answer; it only brings suffering and tears to our families. Our government must do everything to protect our land and people. We, the civilians, shouldn't have to face armed military forces with our lives at risk.
Here's what we should do: stay united and peaceful. Let's appeal to our government to engage in diplomatic talks with Guinea, ensuring our sovereignty is respected. We must also reach out to regional bodies like ECOWAS and the AU for support. Our voices are stronger when we stand together as a community.
To my fellow Lofans, let's stand firm but calm. We've endured hard times before and come out stronger. Our unity is our strength. Let's protect our land, our heritage, and our future. We won't back down, but we'll stand for peace and justice.
Let's organize peaceful protests and petitions to show our resolve. Let's support our local leaders in pushing for dialogue and protection of our rights. And let's pray for peace and stability in our region.
To our government, we urge you: protect us, engage in talks, and defend our sovereignty. We're counting on you.
Fellow Lofans, let's stand together – for our land, for our rights, and for our future.
